Grenada Citizenship by Investment
Since 2013, the Grenada Citizenship by Investment Program is a program that allows foreign investors to be granted second citizenship by the Government of Grenada if they meet certain criteria. Investors wishing to apply for this program must make a significant economic contribution to the country. Applicants can proceed by choosing one of the following investment options
- Investing a non-refundable minimum of US$150,000 in the National Transformation Fund (NTF),
- Make a minimum real estate investment of US$350,000 and hold the invested real estate for 5 years after acquiring Grenada citizenship,
- Invest a minimum of USD 220,000 in approved tourism sector projects and hold the invested real estate for 5 years after acquiring Grenada citizenship.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and provide a medical certificate and criminal record. The Grenada Citizenship by Investment Program application and naturalization process usually takes 3 to 6 months. Participants in this program receive a number of benefits:
- A Grenada passport allows visa-free travel to more than 115 countries, including the Schengen Area and China, where visas are difficult to obtain.
- Once Grenada's citizenship is obtained, the applicant can apply for residency and work authorization in the United States through the E-2 agreement.
- Provides the opportunity to obtain citizenship and passports for the applicant and family members.
- Provides dual citizenship, giving the opportunity to hold citizenship of two countries.
