Investment Options

The Greece Residence Permit by Investment Program, which aims to make an economic contribution to Greece, offers investors several options. To apply for the program, you must meet one of the following conditions:

Real Estate Investment: A 5-year residence permit can be obtained by investing in one or more real estate properties for a minimum amount of €250,000. The Golden Visa is granted for 5 years and can be renewed every 5 years, provided that the real estate is held in case of expiration. As of January 2023, the minimum investment amount for real estate in 36 cities such as Mykonos, Santorini, Thessaloniki and Athens is set at EUR 500,000.

Time Deposit Account: Opening a 400,000 Euro time deposit account with one of the Greek Credit Institutions for at least one year is also a viable option for application. The Golden Visa is issued for 5 years and renewed every five years, provided that the investment is maintained.

Investment in Corporate or Government Bonds: A residence permit can be obtained by investing at least EUR 800,000 in corporate or government bonds traded on a regulated market or in a multilateral trading organization operating in Greece.

The applicant must be at least 18 years old and is also required to submit a medical certificate and a criminal record.

The application processing time for the Greece Residence Permit by Investment Program is usually between 2-4 months.
